Parent

In Parental Control Apps, a Parent refers to the main user (administrator) who:

  • Manages, monitors, and controls their child's smartphone, tablet, or computer.

  • Sets restrictions, views reports, and configures rules to ensure safe and controlled device usage for children.

The Parent account is usually linked to one or multiple Child devices.

Parent Control App

An app to monitor and restrict a child’s phone usage.

Parent's Device

A Parent Device is the smartphone, tablet, or computer owned and used by the Parent (administrator) to manage and monitor the Child Device(s).

It acts as the control center where the Parental Control App is installed and operated.

App where all photos and videos are stored and viewed.

Plugged in charging

"Plugged In Charging" is a battery status indicating that the smartphone (or other electronic device) is connected to a power source (via charger, USB, wireless pad) and is actively charging the battery.

Pluggd in charging

"Plugged In Charging" means the device is connected to a power source and charging the battery. This status can be detected in software using system APIs to trigger behaviors, monitor battery health, or inform users.

Personal identification number (PIN)

A number code for unlocking the device.
